Baker Got me the Bombay Blues

I'll be finishing my last year at my Engineering college and would start working by June of this year. My job would want me to shift from this city I grew up in, from Mumbai to Pune. I'm quite looking forward to it, life seems to have grown into a straight line out here anyway.

Last week, I got an opportunity to visit my office for an information day, it was quite a day. Long, good food, and exciting. Traveling back, I went into a mixture of emotions, nervousness, excitement, melancholy, and to an extent curious for the things to come.

5th December 2015 marked the First Saturday for Ingress after turning 3. Mumbai was one of the cities for the agents to meetup and help lower access level agents improve. The event took place at Gateway of India at 1400 hours.

1400-1500 hours:
Agents from both factions, the Enlightened and the Resistance showed up, also many new agents(including me). Registrations of current AP, Access levels and Trekker points were done, while the agents interacted with each other and planned their strategies.

1500-1700 hours:
After the registrations ended, agents were told thee rules and goals for thee event. Agents were supposed to capture as much portals and acquire as much AP as they could. Many agents helped out a few low access level agents  to gain the crucially needed AP. The whole event saw interaction of a lot of portal capturing and breaking with some intense dog fights. Most of the attempts to create huge fields were taken down by constant destroying of the portals.Agents were to return back sharp at 1700 for the final score submission.

1700+ hours:
All agent's current stats were taken in, and calculation were conducts. Most agents interacted with fellow faction agents on their run and experience, photos were taken.A group photo was taken with agents from both factions. The meet up was a total success to help the community gather and help the new agents understand and play the game smoothly. Agents proceeded to have an after party ater the long and tiring event.
Result: The Enlightened dominated over the Resistance over the 5 kilometers of the 2 our event. The most AP by a single agent was from The Enlightened, the Top 10 highest AP collectors were given official Ingress and FS badges.

There is an IngressFS mission available at the Gateway of India for the ones who missed the FS action. It has been a good time to meet and interact with fellow agents and help the faction rise up against the Resistance.
